1 pkg. Active dry yeast
1 ¼ c. Warm water
2 Tbs. Brown Sugar
2 Tbs. Wesson Oil
1 Tbs. Caraway seed
2 tsp. Salt
1 c. Rye flour
2 ¾ c. All purpose flour

Directions:
Directions:
In a large mixing bowl sprinkle yeast and warm water and stir til dissolved. Add brown sugar, oil, caraway seed, salt, rye flour and 1 cup all purpose flour and beat 2 minutes. Add 1 ¾ cup flour and beat until smooth - coat hands with a little Wesson oil or flour and knead a little. Let it raise, covered in war place till doubled in size (about 40 minutes). Poke down and put in loaf pan (9x5x3). Let rise again until doubled in size.

Bake at 350º to 375º F about 1 hr until tapping on top sounds hollow.
