3 TBL Olive oil
1 1/4 pound of boneless, skinless chicken breast, diced into 1 inch pieces
2 cloves garlic, minced
salt, pepper, garlic powder to taste
14 oz ca chicken broth
1 cup half and half
1/2 pound spaghetti or fettucine noodles, uncooked
2 cups Parmesan cheese, grated
(optional) cooked, crumbled bacon

Directions:
Directions:
Heat olive oil over medium heat in a large skillet. Season chicken with salt, pepper, garlic salt. Brown in oil for about 6 minutes.

Add garlic and cook for 30 sec. Add pasta, broth, and half and half. Bring the mixture to a boil, then cover pot and allow the mixture to simmer for 20 - 30 minutes, or until pasta is tender.

Remove from heat and stir in Parmesan cheese. Sprinkle with bacon crumbles, if desired.

I usually double this recipe. Can be made without chicken for a side dish or meatless entree.
