1 jar of canned cherries in syrup (see recipe)
1 Tbsp. butter
1/4 cp. dark rum or brandy

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in skillet and add cherries with syrup. (if using a bought can of bing cherries, add 1/2 cp. sugar and cook until dissolved) Heat and pour rum or brandy in skillet. Using a long stem match, light the liquid in skillet. When flames die, stir and pour over vanilla ice cream.
