1 butter cake mix (cooked according to box directions)
16 oz. sour cream
2 cups granulated sugar
12 oz. coconut (packed in measuring cup)
1½ cups Cool Whip
Directions:
Directions:
Cook butter cake mix in tube pan according to directions on box. When cooled, cut into three layers Create filling mixture by stirring sour cream, sugar & coconut together. Reserve 1 cup of filling mixture for icing. Now, create 5 layers on plate: layer of cake + ½ of remaining filling + another layer of cake + remaining filling + another layer of cake. For icing, combine the 1 cup of reserved filling & 1½ cups of Cool Whip. Cover top and sides of 5 layer cake with icing. Put in air tight container in refrigerator for 3 days. Garnish with fresh strawberries, when ready to serve.
