2 pounds ground sirloin
1/4 cup water
2 Medium onions, chopped fine
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 large green pepper, chopped fine
1 Teaspoon olive oil
1 regular can crushed tomatoes or
1 can tomato sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
1 Teaspoon brown sugar
2 Tablespoons red wine vinegar
1/4 cup pimiento stuffed olives(optional)
1/2 cup raisins
1 Tablespoon capers (optional)
1/2 c red wine

Directions:
Directions:
Brown ground meat with water in large frying pan over medium heat until no longer pink.
Stir to break up large chunks
(Water keeps meat soft and absorbs
Grease)
Drain and put into a bowl
Place onions,garlic,green pepper and olive oil in frying pan on medium high
Until onions are golden
Return meat to pan
Stir in tomato sauce or crushed tomatoes ,salt,pepper,brown sugar,
Vinegar,olives, raisins, capers and red wine
Cook at bare Simmer 1 hour until
Meat is tender and sauce is thick
