1 large can of San Marzano style whole tomatoes
1 large clove garlic
3 T extra virgin olive oill
chopped fresh basil
salt and pepper to taste

Brown garlic in oil and discard
as it cools, crush tomatoes in colander or blender
add all ingredients and simmer for 20 minutes
This sauce is great with any variety of pasta or pizza
