1 Large garlic clove
1/4 C extra virgin olive oil
2 T butter
1 doz. little neck clams chopped in juice
1 bunch chopped Italian parsley
salt/pepper to taste
1 lb of fettuccine cooked al dente
1/4 c white wine or pasta water (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Brown garlic in oil and discard. Add butter, clams and juice
simmer until clams are tender.
Mix together with pasta and parsley
over low heat for a few minutes
add pepper flakes if desired
