3 28 oz. cans of tomato sauce (1 cup reserved for sauce)
1 an tomato juice
salt
pepper
dried oregano

Meatballs

1 medium onion chopped fine
2 lbs. ground beef
1 0r 2 Tbs. garlic salt
3 pkg. saltine crackers rolled into crumbs
1/2 green pepper chopped fine
2 eggs
3Tbs parmesan cheese
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup parmesan cheese

Sauce

Put 4 of the cans of tomato sauce in a large pot and salt and pepper and oregano. Just cover the top of the sauce with a thin layer of oregano. Cook over low heat.

Mix all the ingredients for meatballs and shape into medium size balls. Place in oven safe dish and bake at 400º until browned. Add to sauce. Cook on low and stir often, after one hour add 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese. Cook about 6 hours.

Serve over spaghetti that has been cooked according to directions on the box
