2 cups butter
2 cups sugar
2 cups brown sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
4 cups flour
5 cups blended oatmeal*
1 tsp salt
2 tsp baking powder
2 tsp baking soda
24 oz chocolate chips
3 cups chopped nuts

*measure oatmeal and blend in blender to a fine powder

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and both sugars together; add eggs and vanilla. Mix together; flour, oatmeal, salt, baking powder & baking soda. Put dry & wet ingredients in large bowl and add chips, candy & nuts. Mix well. Shape into balls & place 2 inches apart on cookie sheet. Bake for 7.5 to 8 minutes at 375º. Makes 112 cookies
