1 pkg. yeast (2 1/4 ts)
1/2 cup warm water
1 1/2 warm regular buttermilk
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup melted shortening
5 cups of flour
1/2 of soda
1/2 teaspoon of salt

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast into the 1/2 cup of warm water. Add warmed buttermilk. Add sugar and melted shortening. Let stand 10 min.
Sift flour, soda and salt: add to yeast mixture. Let rise till double. Form into desired shape rolls and let rise again. 1/2 the recipe for rolls and 1/2 for Dutch Bread if desired.
Pocket book rolls: roll dough thin and cut with biscuit cutter.
With one side having melted oleo.
5 to a muffin tin, Let rise again Bake in 375 oven for 25 minutes.
