1 large head romaine lettuce, shredded
1 clove garlic
3 Tbl. olive oil
1 Tbl Worcestershire Sauce
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
juice from 1 lemon
1 Tsp. prepared dijon mustard
1 cup fresh made garlic croutons
salt and pepper to taste

optional'
1 Tbl. anchovies or anchovy paste
1 soft boiled egg

Garlic Croutons
1/4 cup olive oil
2 cloves of garlic. minced
3 slices of coarse Italian or French bread, cut into bite size pieces

Directions:
Directions:
In large wooden salad bowl, rub the bottom and sides with clove of crushed garlic. Be sure to coat area thoroughly.Remove garlic. Add olive oil to bottom of bowl, worcestershire sauce, lemon juice,mustard, (anchovies if adding) salt and fresh ground pepper. Stir thoroughly to combine. Add shredded romaine leaves to bowl , followed by Parmesan cheese. Cook egg 3 minutes,open and add to contents of bowl. Top with garlic croutons , toss and serve. Superb (if I do say so myself:)

Croutons;
Heat the olive oil and minced garlic in a fry pan over low to med. heat. Add bread cubes, toast and and stir frequently till well toasted on all sides. Add contents of pan to salad., Toss.
