1 cup oleo (note* sometimes Rich says he used combination of butter and oleo - 1 cup of each)
2 cups brown sugar (packed)
1/2 cup corn syrup
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 teas. vanilla
dash salt
6 quarts popped corn (Rich uses combo of shelled corn and regular)
** optional- mixed nuts

Directions:

Melt oleo/butter. Add sugar, corn syrup and salt.. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Then boil without stirring for 5 minutes.
Remove from heat,stir in vanilla and soda. Pour over corn and bake at 350º for 1 hour. Stir every 15 minutes.
