Directions:
There were no directions for the cake but I would assume you would do the following. Mix all the dry ingredients together. In mixing bowl whip together the oil and sugar then add eggs one at a time. Add dry ingredients alternating with butter milk. Add vanilla and mix well. Fold in figs and nuts. Bake in bundt pan at 325º for 1 & 1/2 hours.

GLAZE: (Instructions according to Grandmaw Reeves)
Combine ingredients and boil 3 minutes. Cool to a warm state and drizzle on warm cake.

Personal Notes:
I didn't think I would like this cake but I really did. It is delicious and moist. Grandmas Reeves use to make it in the fall. She was Terry & Kim's grandmother.. She was a very sweet and gentle spirited lady. She lived to cook for her family and made a big breakfast every morning, then a lunch and delicious supper with fresh vegetables out of their garden. They never owned a car but she was faithful to church. Grandpa Reeves went also but wasn't saved until just a few years before his death. God is merciful.
