Ingredients:  
Ingredients:  
Soup bone with a bit of meat still on it (or a beef rib or two)
Cover with about 1½ qts water
Add salt and pepper to taste
1 bay leaf
Bring to near boil over medium heat
Reduce heat to simmer, covered, for an hour or so

Add:
1 or 2 stalks celery, sliced
Sliced carrots
1 can chopped tomatoes
1 medium onion
1 can tomato soup (or sauce or tomato juice)
Small amount of macaroni (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Simmer for another hour
Remove bone and take off meat
Return meat to soup
Enjoy!
