Pie:
4 cups sliced apples
½ cup water
2 Tbsp butter
1 cup sugar
⅓ tsp nutmeg
½ tsp salt
2 Tbsp cornstarch

Topping:
¼ cup brown sugar
¼ cup granulated sugar
¾ cup flour
⅓ cup butter

Directions:
Directions:
In a bowl, thoroughly mix sugar, nutmeg, salt and cornstarch; set aside. In a large saucepan, mix sliced apples, water and butter and heat through. Add sugar mixture. Cook until apples are tender. Pour into an unbaked pie shell. Top with crust or topping. Bake until done - approximately 35 - 45 minutes until apples are tender and crust is golden brown.

For topping, mix sugars, flour and butter. Spread over top of pie before baking.

Susy: We cannot get enough of Aunt Wilma's great recipes! How many of us remember visiting her home when we came to BYU? As a freshman, I spent my first Thanksgiving with her family. I think maybe my son Zach did, too!
