1 lemon flavored sponge cake (already prepared)
1 quart boiled custard
1 pint whipped cream
Almond extract, Brandy, or Sherry wine

Directions:
Directions:
Flavor the whipped cream with the almond extract, brandy, or sherry wine
Slice the sponge cake very thin

Place slice of sponge cake on bottom of trifle dish (or other deep dish)
Cover slice of cake with a layer of custard
Add a thin layer of whipped cream
Repeat the process

Top with whipped cream and chill
