Good quality virgin olive oil
Good quality balsamic vinegar (not too much)
Small squeeze of lemon
Salt
Pepper
1/2 tablespoon mayonnaise
1/2 tablespoon water
Salad Greens
Herbs
Garnish
Minced garlic - optional

Directions:
In the salad bowl, I put enough good quality virgin olive oil, a good balsamic vinegar...not too much as Lar doesn't like real sour, a small squeeze of lemon, salt, pepper, mayonnaise, and water. Stir it well...voila! A nice, simple, healthy salad dressing. Then I put fresh herbs in the salad, chopped very fine: parsley and rosemary are my favorite. I grow violets and roses to garnish the salads, and garlic flowers, or a clove minced.

Toss salad greens with dressing and herbs. Garnish and serve.
