1½ cup sugar
5 egg whites
1 T. corn syrup

Directions:
Directions:
Whisk together over a pan of simmering water until sugar is dissolved. Place in stand mixer and beat on high until stiff, fluffy peaks form (approximately 5 minutes). Fold in 1 tsp. vanilla. Use one cup on bottom layer. Spread. Use remainder over cake.
