2 lbs top round beef cut into cubes
3 tbsp butter
2 onions, 2 cloves of garlic finely cut
1 tsp coriander, 1 tsp cumin, some trassi finely pounded
6 candlenuts, finger length koenir, ginger,
6 red hot peppers
salt, sugar, tamarind
6 cups of coconut milk
5 tbsp oil
1 lemongrass
2 lemon leaves

Directions:
Directions:
Brown meat in butter
Saute onion, garlic and finely pounded ingredients in oil. Add the meat, the coconut milk, lemongrass and lemon leaves; then add tamarind, salt, sugar to taste. Cook on low heat stirring occasionally until meat is tender and falls apart - several hours.
*Can also be done in a slow cooker.
