1/2 c. Sugar
1/2 c. Brown sugar
1/4 c.butter
1/4 c. Shortening
1/2 c. Peanut Butter
1 egg
1 1/4 c. Flour
3/4 tsp Baking Soda
1/2 tsp Baking Powder
1/2 tsp Salt
I package Chocolate kisses or Choclate Stars

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together sugars, butter,shortening ,egg and peanut butter. Add in dry ingredients . Cover and refrigerate at least 3 hours. Preheat oven to 375º. Roll into 1 inch balls and roll in granulated sugar. Bake 8 to 10 min.Remove from oven and immediately press a chocolate piece into the middle of the cooling cookie. Remove from pan and let cool on parchment paper until chocolate is cool.
