For the French toast:

1 1/2 c. whole milk
6 large eggs
1 tbsp. pure vanilla extract
kosher salt
8 slices white sandwich bread
1 c. cinnamon-sugar
1 tbsp. butter

For the glaze:

2 tbsp. cream cheese, softened
1/4 oz. powdered sugar
1 tbsp. whole milk

Directions:
Directions:
In a shallow bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, vanilla and a pinch of salt. Dip bread in egg mixture until each slice is soaked through.

Pour cinnamon-sugar into a shallow bowl and set aside.

Make glaze: In a small liquid measuring cup, whisk together cream cheese, powdered sugar and milk until smooth.

In a medium nonstick skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add a couple slices of bread and cook until golden, about 2 minutes per side.

Remove from skillet and immediately toss French toast in cinnamon-sugar, then repeat with remaining bread slices.

Drizzle each serving with cream cheese glaze and serve warm.
