4 eggs, beaten
1 c. sugar
2 c. brown sugar
2 c. Crisco shortening (scant 2 cups)
2 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. soda
½ tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together.
Slowly add in 3 1/2 to 4 c. Robin Hood flour.
By hand mix in 18 oz. pkg. of chocolate chips.
Drop by spoonful onto cookie sheet.
Bake in preheated oven at 350º for 8-10 minutes.

Grandma Betty's chocolate chip cookies can also be made with white chocolate chips. They are instantly a favorite of anyone who is lucky enough to bite into one. What a treasure to have a grandma who can make such awesome cookies!
