2 eggs
1 cup packed brown sugar
4 cups sifted flour
4 tsps baking powder
tsp salt
2 cups milk
1 cup finely chopped nuts
2 Tbsp oil

Preheat oven to 350
Grease two 9 x 5 x 3 loaf pans

Combine eggs and brown sugar and beat until sugar is dissolved.
Sift flour, baking powder and salt together.
Add flour and milk alternately to egg/sugar mixture.
Stir in pecans.
Pour batter into loaf pans. Cover pans and allow to stand 30 minutes before baking.
Bake for 45 50 minutes until golden brown.
Cool on wire rack, then remove bread from pans.
Cool thoroughly before slicing
