1 Tbsp yeast
1 cup lukewarm milk
½ cup flour
1 stick butter
½ cup sugar
½ tsp salt
3 eggs
3 ½ cups sifted flour

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º

Stir yeast into milk.
Blend in ½ cup flour and set aside in a warm place for an hour or until bubbly.
Cream together butter, sugar and salt.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.
Add yeast mixture alternately with flour to the egg mixture.
More or less flour may be used to make dough easy to handle.
The less flour, the lighter and better the dough.
Knead dough until smooth and elastic.
Shape into ball and put into greased bowl,
Cover and let rise in warm place until double in bulk.

Punch down dough and form into rolls, turnovers, or bread braids
Bake for 10 12 minutes, or until done.
