Remove label from can. Place unopened can in a heavy pot and cover by several inches of water. Boil for 4 hours making sure to keep it covered with water at all times. I have heard that they will explode if not kept covered, I have never had it happen though. After 4 hours, turn off heat and you can let them return to room temperature in the water overnight. After they have cooled to room temperature open and enjoy!
