6 med. Potatoes, pared and thinly sliced
3 Tbsp. Butter
1 Medium Onion, finely chopped
3 Tbsp. Flour
1 tsp. Salt
1/2 tsp. Pepper
2-1/2 cups Milk
1 Tbsp. Butter, melted

Directions:
Directions:
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease bottom of casserole dish with butter.

Melt butter in 2-quart saucepan. Add onion and cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until tender. Mix in flour, salt and pepper, stirring constantly, until smooth and bubbly. Remove from heat. Stir in milk. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil for 1-minute.

Spread potatoes in casserole dish. Pour sauce over potatoes and dot with butter. Cover and bake about 30 minutes. Uncover and bake 1-hour, or until potatoes are fork-tender. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
