1 cup sugar
2/3 cup light Karo syrup
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1 T. butter
1/8 tsp. salt

1/2 cup sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Cook first five ingredients in heavy saucepan on low-med. heat. Melt 1/2 cup sugar, stirring constantly until boiling. Add liquefied sugar to mixture in saucepan. Cook to 244-248šon a candy thermometer. Add vanilla. Pour onto buttered plates. Cool. Wrap pieces in wax paper or confectionary wrappers.
