1 - 1 1/2 lb swiss steak - cut into 1" cubes
2 c water mixed with 2 bouillon cubes
4-6 pieces of bacon
1 med onion - dices
1 T paprika plus
1/2 t paprika - 1/2 t salt - 1/4 t pepper - 1/8 t meat tenderizer
3/4 c red wine (can use white)

Cut the bacon pieces and brown, when almost done add the onions.
Add the 1" beef pieces to bacon/onion mixture and brown well.

Mix spices and add to meat mixture browning. When meat is fully browned add 2 c of bouillon broth and wine to meat mixture. Add to baking dish and bake at 350 degrees for 3 hrs

After meat has cooked 3 hrs mix 1/2 c water and 1/4 c flour in a jar or small dish. Add 1 T of butter and 1 T paprika. Thicken this and add to meat, mixing well. Cook appx 1/2 hr additionally. Lower temp to 300 degrees.

Serve goulash mixture over wide egg noodles.
