2-3 fresh tomatoes
1 (12 ounce) can whole peeled tomatoes
5 jalapenos
1 clove garlic - minced
4-5 green onions (scallions) - diced
10 (or more) stems of cilantro - chopped
dash of salt & pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Mix garlic, salt with a bit of water. Mix together in blender, 1/2 can whole peeled tomatoes, jalapenos & juice from can, and puree. Set aside in a container.

Now, chop fresh tomatoes and put into the blender. Add remaining canned tomatoes and blend for 1-2 seconds. Combined ingredients in blender with chopped cilantro and green onions. Add to the ingredients in container and mix. Refrigerate.

Serve with chips or favorite Spanish entree.
