1/2 cup butter, softened
1/4 cup oil
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 large egg
1-3/4 cups flour
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1-1/2 cups Rice Krispies
1/2 cup quick cooking oats
1/2 cup flaked coconut
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup toffee bits

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, oil, sugars and vanilla. Add egg; beat well. Combine flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt; add to creamed mixture. Stir in remaining ingredients. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto an ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 350ºF for 10 to 12 minutes or until light brown. Cool on wire rack. Yield: 6 dozen
