Dutch Apple Pie Recipe

1 quart sliced apples
3 T. melted butter
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Pastry for a single crust pie


Topping:
3/4 cup flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup melted butter

Directions:
Directions:
Pour melted 3 T. butter over apples and mix to coat each slice. Mix sugar and cinnamon and toss with apple slices. Turn into unbaked pie crust. Mix topping ingredients thoroughly and scatter over apples. Bake at 450º for 20 minutes, then 350º for 40 minutes. If using a pyrex pan, reduce temps by 25 degrees.
