2 cloves garlic
1/2 c. olive oil
1/2 c. seasoned bread crumbs
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
3/4 c. Parmesan cheese
1 quart (3 cans) oysters, drained well

Directions:
Directions:
1. Pre-heat oven to 450º.

2. Grease pan or individual ramekins.

3. Finely chop garlic and add to olive oil.

4. Mix cheese and bread crumbs in small bowl along with salt and pepper.

5. Dip oysters in olive oil and garlic, then in cheese/crumb mixture.

6. Place in greased containers.

7. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until bubbly.

Father Bauler gave this recipe to Ma and she would make it when he came over for dinner, which was often. He was definitely a fixture at the table on Sundays.
