Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 Pineapple or Yellow cake mix
1/2 c. vegetable oil
1 c. brown sugar
1 can (14 oz.) pineapple slices
Maraschino cherry halves
Walnut pieces, not too small, to arrange in between cherries and pineapple
Whipped cream

Directions:
Directions:
Pour oil in 13x9x2 inch pan. Sprinkle with brown sugar evenly in pan. Drain pineapple, save the syrup. Arrange pineapple and maraschino cherry halves in sugar mixture, then walnuts.

Add enough water to pineapple syrup to make 1 1/3 c. of liquid. Add this and 2 eggs to the cake mix. Mix as directed on label. Pour batter over fruit.

Bake at 350 degrees for about 50 minutes, until cake pulls away from sides of pan. Let stand 5 minutes for topping to begin to set. Turn upside down on platter or jelly roll pan or cookie sheet. Run knife around edge before turning over and leave there upside down for a few seconds so all topping falls on cake. Serve warm with whipped cream.
