2 c. grits (quick grits may be used but stone ground grits have better texture)
2 qts. Water.
3 tsp. salt
1 stick butter
6 ozs Cheddar cheese, grated
3 eggs, beaten
2 c. milk
Dash cayenne pepper

Directions:
Directions:
In a medium pot, bring broth, milk, and water to a boil. Add grits, reduce heat, cover, and cook for about 5 minutes (for quick grits), or until grits are thickened and creamy.
Add remaining ingredients, stirring until cheese is melted.
