¾ lb. Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
2 cups sour cream
2 (4 oz.) cans chopped green chilies
3 cups cooked rice
Salt & pepper
½ cup
Cheddar cheese, grated

Directions:
Directions:
Thoroughly mix sour cream and green chilies. Butter a 1½ quart casserole well. Season rice with salt and pepper, if necessary. Layer rice, sour cream mixture, and shredded Monterey Jack cheese in that order until you finish with rice on the top.
Bake @350º for 30 minutes. During last few minutes of baking, sprinkle grated Cheddar cheese over the rice and allow to melt before removing from oven.
