10 -12 lb turkey
Dressing:
8-10 slices stale bread (cube or tear into pieces)
small onion diced fine- if turkey small saute onions
can also chop up celery, mushrooms and add
precooked giblets diced fine
raisins ( I use cranberries )
poultry seasoning, salt ,pepper, parsley sage. lots of all!
combine and stuff just before cooking.
If bread too dry can add milk to moisten.

CO 350ºF about 20 min per pound.

Brent's Turkey:
500ºF (not convection) 7 min per pound exactly (lid on tightly)
Turn off oven
Let sit 2 hours in oven exactly ( do not open oven at all)
Let sit outside of oven about 20 min before open roaster and take out.

Turkey giblets were a good addition . Nana would simmer them in a pot with cut up onion and salt and pepper. Then cut up the pieces once cooked and add to the dressing.
