1/2 cp. shortening or coconut oil
1 stick butter, softened
1 1/2 cps. sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 cps. plain flour
1 tsp. soda
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
3 tsp. cinnamon
3 Tbsp. sugar

Directions:
Preheat oven to 400. Cream butter, shortening, sugar and eggs. Add vanilla. Mix dry ingredients and blend into butter mixture. Mix 3 Tbsp. sugar and 3 tsp. cinnamon in small bowl. Roll dough into 1" balls, roll balls in cinnamon sugar mixture and place on baking sheet 2" apart. Bake for 10 min. This makes about 48 cookies.
