I pound ground beef
2 Tbsp. salt
1 Tbsp paprika
1 tsp pepper
3/4 lb rice
1 large onion minced
1 large head of cabbage
1 small can of sauerkraut
1 large can of tomato juice

Directions:
Directions:
Core cabbage and place in enough boiling salted water to cover. With a fork in one hand and a knife in the other keep cutting off the leaves as they become wilted. Lay on cookie sheet and trim thick center vein of each cabbage leaf. In large bowl mix hamburger, onion, salt, pepper, paprika, and rice. Place about a teaspoon of filling on each cabbage leaf and roll. place in pot and cover two thirds full with water. Arrange sauerkraut on top and add tomato juice. Cover and cook slowly for about 1 1/2 hours. Serve with mashed potatoes.
