Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2Tbsp shortening
1 medium onion, diced
1 young chicken, cut up into serving pieces
2 tsp paprika
salt and pepper to taste
2 tsp of four
1 cup sour cream

Directions:
Directions:
Saute onion in shortening until golden brown; add paprika; mix thoroughly. Add washed pieces of chicken and brown on each side. Add salt and pepper and little water to permit chicken to simmer slowly in covered pan until tender. Continue to add water as needed. Mix 2 Tbsp flour with sour cream and add to the chicken broth. Boil for 3 minutes. Serve with dumplings. I also put all of it in a big soup pan with chicken broth about one box and let it cook for awhile.
