3 cups
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt

1 cup sugar
1 cup butter
1/2 cup brown sugar

2eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate mint candy wafers

walnut halves

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients except mint wafers and walnut in a large mixing bowl. mix at lowest peed of mixer until dough forms. Drop by scant teaspoonfuls, 2 inches apart, onto ungreased cookie sheets. Press candy wafer on top of each. Cover with scant teaspoonful of dough on top. Top each with a walnut half. Smooth edges.
Bake at 375º for 9-12 minutes.
