3 1/2 cups white sugar
1/2 cup white corn syrup
2/3 cup water
1/2 teaspoon salt
Two egg whites
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cook sugar, syrup, water and salt to softball stage. Take out one cup of the syrup and poor slowly over the stiffly beaten egg whites, beating all the time. Continue beating while rest of sugar syrup cooks to hard boil stage. Poor slowly over egg whites; add nuts; beating constantly until mixture thickens enough to pour. Spread in 9 x 13" buttered pan. Cut into squares when cool.
