1/2 cup brown sugar

2 tbsp butter

1/8 tsp salt

1/2 tsp vanilla

1/4 cup raisins

3 slices bread

2 cups milk

2 beaten

1/8 tsp cinnamon

sprinkle of coconut

Directions:
Directions:
Sprinkle brown sugar on the bottom of a large casserole. Butter bread and cut in quarters (small pieces). Arrange on top of sugar. Combine milk, eggs, salt, vanilla and raisins, pour over the bread. Arrange on top of sugar.

Combine milk, eggs, salt, vanilla and raisins, pour over the bread. You can sprinkle the top with the coconut if you want.

Serve with whipped or plain cream (ice cream or Caramel brown sugar syrup.

Bake 350º for approx. 1 hour.
