1 c. shortening
3/4 c. brown sugar
3/4 c white sugar
1 t. vanilla
1/2 t. water
2 eggs
2 1/4 c. flour
1 t. baking soda
1 t. salt
12 oz. pkg. chocolate chips



Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour with baking soda and salt. Cream shortening with sugars, add eggs, vanilla and water. Add flour mixture and blend. Stir in chocolate chips. Nuts, M and M's, raisins, and other variations may be added. Bake at 350º for 8 to 10 minutes. Don't overbake.
