1 cup butter
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
1 cup molasses
4 cups flour
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon baking soda
Dash allspice
Dash cinnamon
¾ teaspoon powdered ginger

Preheat oven to 350º
Cream butter and sugar, add eggs and molasses. Then add dry ingredients alternately with milk. Pour in a 9 x 13 prepared pan ( I use Bakers Joy) Bake in 350º oven for about 1 hour.
