1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup sour cream

Topping:
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1 cup nuts (walnuts or pecans optional)
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º (325º for dark pan)

Cream together butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Add dry ingredients and sour cream. Mix until combined

Spread 1/3 of batter on bottom of angel food or bundt pan
Add 1/2 of Topping
Spread 1/3 batter mixture on top
Add remaining 1/2 of topping
Spread remaining 1/3 batter on top

Bake for approximately 40 minutes.

Frosting:
2 Tbsp butter
1/2 cup sugar
1 Tbsp milk
1/4 tsp almond flavoring

Make relatively thin and drizzle over cake
