1 pound ground beef
1 large onion, diced fine
1 large green bell pepper, diced fine
1 large red bell pepper, diced fine
2 tbsp. chopped garlic
1 bay leaf
1 tbsp. ground cumin
1/2 tbsp. ground coriander
1 tbsp. sea salt
1 tbsp. ground black pepper
2 tbsp. chili powder
1 can (28oz.) crushed tomatoes
1 bottle (32oz.) tomato juice
8 oz [half a box] small pasta (macaroni, shells, etc.]

In a large soup pot, brown the ground beef. Add onions, garlic, and bell peppers; cook until soft. Add all spices, crushed tomatoes, and tomato juice. Adjust seasonings if needed, and bring up to a boil. Add pasta and cook until pasta is al dente. Serve hot.
