1 C. (2 sticks butter)
1 C. water
2 C. flour
2 C. sugar
1/2 C. sour cream
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. almond extract
Butter Pecan Frosting

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350º. Bring the butter and water to a boil in a saucepan, stirring occasionally. Remove from the heat. Add the flour, sugar, sour cream, eggs, salt, baking powder and almond extract and whisk until smooth. Spoon batter into a buttered and lightly floured 9 x 13 cake pan. Bake for 25 minutes or until light brown. Remove from the oven. Spread the warm cake with butter Pecan Frosting.
