Directions:
Salt and pepper the roast. Spray slow cooker or liner with Pam cooking spray. (Linda says that spraying is very important to the cooking in this recipe). Put roast in and sprinkle the roast with first the Aus Jus powder and then the Hidden Valley Ranch powder. Place the stick of butter on top of the roast along with the 5 pepperoncini. Cook on low for 6 hours. (Cook your veggies separately.)

Personal Notes:
Everyone always asks me if I have or know of any good slow cooker recipes for roast. Now I have one. When we shared a week’s vacation with Steve and Linda, Linda cooked this roast. Linda , for the record wanted it noted that this is not her recipe. This only matters to ....??? Important thing is we have it now. It was the moistest, juiciest, most tender roast I had ever had. No liquid other than butter goes into the pot. Yet, after 6 hours there is enough liquid to make a gallon of gravy. It’s the best!!
