3 cups granulated sugar
1/2 cup white corn syrup
1/2 cup cold water
2 egg whites stiffly beaten
1 tsp vanilla
Nuts (pecan pieces)
Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar, syrup and water. Cook until soft ball stage Pour 1/2 over stiff egg whites

Continue cooking mixture until it makes hard ball

Pour over egg whites

Continue beating until almost impossible to beat

Add vanilla and nuts

Spoon over buttered wax paper to cool
