1/2c turkey drippings
1/2c flour
3c turkey juices or broth
Browning sauce (if desired)
1/2t salt
1/4t pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour into drippings use whisk (equal parts)

Stir in liquid , heat to boiling

Making gravy: return drippings to pan add flour using whisk then stir in turkey juices or broth heat to boiling stirring constantly and scraping up brown bits, until mixture is smooth and bubbly

Gravy problems
Greasy- place slice of bread on top of gravy for a few seconds then remove bread
Lumpy-press gravy through strainer
Too thin- dissolve 1T flour in 2T water stir into gravy with whisk. Boil and stir 1 min
Too pale- Worchester sauce (start with 1t)
Too salty- add peeled raw potato, cut into eights- cook and stir 5-10 minutes then remove potato
